DSPA AEROSOL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

DSPA AEROSOL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

AEROSOLis the most effective fire extinguishing agent in the world today.

DSPAis a famous manufacturer of aerosol fire extinguishing equipment in the Netherlands.

DAI ANis the official distributor of DSPA aerosol products in the Vietnam market.

DSPA Aerosol develops 2 types of fire extinguishers:

1- The type of aerosol extinguisher activated automatically, installed in 1 fixed fire extinguishing system.

2- The type of handheld aerosol extinguisher, operating independently, activated manually,

DSPA AEROSOL AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHER - INSTALLED IN 1 FIXED SYSTEM

The DSPA aerosol fire extinguisher is 1 component of the DSPA automatic aerosol fire extinguishing system.

The aerosol canister includes a non-pressurized container, inside which there is a concentrated aerosol compound in solid form, which then, when activated, will be discharged into ultra-fine particles called aerosol fire extinguishing agent.

The concentrated aerosol fire extinguishing agent is a mixture of potassium salts and nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide and a very small amount of water vapor.

The DSPA aerosol canister is also equipped with an activation device, used to activate the concentrated aerosol compound, and is also equipped with insulating materials to cool the aerosol before discharging it into the area requiring fire extinguishing.

When activated by an activation device, it creates a process of burning that concentrated solid aerosol compound and the aerosol is automatically released outside through the discharge holes. That aerosol combustion process creates enough energy to disperse the aerosol covering the entire area requiring fire extinguishing.

Main components of a fixed aerosol fire extinguishing system:

  1. Fire extinguishing system control panel
  2. DSPA aerosol canister connection board
  3. Fire detectors (smoke/heat)
  4. Manual gas release activation switch
  5. Manual gas release cancellation switch
  6. Level 1, level 2 bell, horn, alarm light
  7. DSPA AEROSOL fire extinguishers

Fire extinguishing activation sequence of the fixed-installation aerosol system:

* Fire appears.

* Smoke detector/ heat detector or emergency switch activates.

* Fire extinguishing panel receives signal from the alarm initiating devices.

* Bell/ horn alarms sound, discharge delay time begins.

* When the delay time ends, the gas discharge light turns on

* Fire extinguishing signal is transmitted to the DSPA aerosol canisters.

* The aerosol canister is activated, aerosol is discharged,

* The ultra-fine aerosol particles are quickly spread everywhere in the fire area.*

* The fire is extinguished immediately.

DSPA AEROSOL FIRE EXTINGUISHER HANDHELD TYPE - MANUAL ACTIVATION

The DSPA 5 aerosol fire extinguisher is the handheld type, specially manufactured to equip professional firefighters or on-site fire prevention personnel, Used as a quick response means, urgently extinguishing a newly broken-out fire, especially to open an escape route in the case of being trapped in the middle.

This non-pressurized discharge device is thrown by hand into the inside of the fire area. After activation, a dust cloud including tiny aerosol particles is discharged, flooding the surrounding space and extinguishing the fire in the fire area. The DSPA aerosol discharge device is designed to extinguish fire effectively for class A, B, C, F fires.

DSPA 5 is applied to extinguish fires in high-rise buildings and other types of structures, such as warehouses, machinery rooms, ships... It is suitably used for every fire level, being most effective for fires that have already broken out.

AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE

AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE
  • Monitor and control operation of the fire extinguishing system
  • Receive and process alarm signals from the place where fire occurs (input)
  • Send fire alarm signals to siren /fire alarm light/ close or open the connected control relays (output).
  • Send activation signal for the fire extinguisher cylinder to discharge aerosol fire extinguishing gas.
  • Send a notification signal that the aerosol fire extinguishing system has been activated
